Pros: Low, rolling dunes with beach grass, views of the iconic rock and stacks, and easy access to the beach for more “traditional” beach photos!

Cons: Has the potential to be so foggy you can’t even see the rock really any time of year, but especially April-July. Also tends to be quite crowded during Cal Poly grad season (April-June).

Also has a Palm tree next to these for a variety of trees to make you look like your in multiple locations!

Pros: Such a unique landscape! Think very Sahara Desert-esque photos!

Cons: There is potential for a run in with some mildly-sketchy folk, but we have never had any issues. The sand dunes do require some climbing through sand to get deep into. Also! The dunes don’t look in any cloudy or sunny weather conditions!
